Jonesin' for a Blog Post and Settling for a Cop Out

My name is: Maria
I may seem: some bizarre combination of completely outgoing or completely closed off, depending on how and in what manner you threaten me (or don't).
People who know me think: I'm the best ever. :)
If you knew me you'd probably: like it.
Sometimes I feel: like I don't have a partner. Sometimes I feel like my only friend is the city I live in...
My days are pretty: Busy.
Yesterday: Took a break from running and got a new phone so that I don't accidentally call 911 anymore.
In the morning I: take long, hot showers. The longer and hotter the better.
I like to sleep: On my right side with my arms curled around a pillow, being spooned if at all possible.
If I could be doing anything right now I would be: Smoking a cigarrette. Instead I'm eating M&Ms.
Money: sucks. A whole helluva lot.
One thing I don't have that I wish I did is: A long line of publishers banging down my door. Oh, and perhaps a finished publishable work. ;)
One thing I have that I wish I didn't is: Insecurity.
All you need is: Yourself.
All I need is: Me. And a self-generated confidence boost.
Love is: Out there somewhere. And will still be there when I find it.
If I could see one person right now it would be: I could use a big dose of Betsy Olson.
Something I want but I don't really need is: An iPod.
I live for: finding out what comes next?
I am afraid of: Committment.
It makes me angry when: I can't relax.
I dream about: Jill flying Christine and I over Baghdad in her own private plane (who knew she was a pilot?) and wishing I were in Europe instead. Yes, really.
I daydream about: Grad school.

I dont know how I discovered and evidently bookmarked your blog, but it is interesting . I think your blog is so personal __ I do poetry and have seven poetry blogs on the go, one is becoming a book next year, and an 8th one (an 8th blog) that is a group blog. Do you write poetry? I am also a Leo, and a poet, and a Canadian. I read a really good book by a literary critic about Smoking ____ READING CLUB BOOK - (Jul 1, 2003 - Jul 31, 2003)
Cigarettes are Sublime
by Richard Klein, 216 pages. It is a remarkable book , well written and beautiful. It pays homage to smokers and also examines the cultural history of smoking. YOu might find it of use.
for now, and looking forward to reading more of your blog.
