The Current

I grew up on NPR. On Saturdays, during Prairie Home Companion, my mom and I would pretend to put on a cooking show with Garrison Keillor providing the soundtrack. On car rides to church on Sunday morning, it was always playing on the radio. Now, in a brilliant marketing strategy aimed at the next generation of contributors, The Current has launched in Minnesota. In a couple of hours, I've heard awesome mixes including Jeff Buckley, Le Tigre, Eleni Mandell, the Arcade Fire, Ted Leo and the Pharmacists, Depeche Mode, Hank Williams - this is brilliant.

And how amazingly beautiful is this song?
